Hello, 

My name is Ethan Fernau, I have been living in Owensville pretty much my whole life. Ever since I was in High School, I took interest in doing screen printing and hoping that one day I would have the opportunity to open my own shop. I worked at Circle D in Owensville for a while out of High School, then I moved on to bigger shops in the St.Louis, Rolla, and Jefferson City areas.

I started out in this industry when I was 18 years young and I am now 32 and have been able to learn so much about this line of work throughout previous jobs. I told my beautiful wife Chrissy, "Hey I want to do this thing and the right opportunity is there right now", well of course my wife with her not being a risk taker was like, "If this is what you want, go for it" with that being said and a lot help from the Big man upstairs, he allowed me to be a business owner and helped me follow my dreams. But without God and the support of my sweetheart, this would have never happened. 

So the name Shirtzillla, where did it come from you may ask? 

Well there is a shop in St. Louis called ShirtKong, so I thought it would be cool to do the other half and be ShirtZilla, for Godzilla. It’s a big name and it stands out over all the other cookie cutter names. 

I hope to bring customer service, small town feel back to Owensville and take care of the community.
